It’s Friday. The dirty laundry at home is overflowing. The box where we keep mail is filled to the brim. We’re out of milk. It’s supposed to rain and snow for the next twenty-four hours.
But I don’t care. My husband doesn’t have to work this Sunday morning for the first time since August!
Steve’s schedule is winding down, any my project list and travel plans are winding up. We’re planning to do lots of home DIY projects this spring and traverse the country this spring and summer, visiting warm places (Florida), family (Boise and Missoula), and friends (Vermont). This weekend, though, we’ll just enjoy each other’s company (and do the laundry).
We’re going to make the most of the six months a year that we share a two-day weekend. It will be glorious!
