It’s letter-learning time in this house.
In September, I posted a project that involved large letters (a BOO sign for Halloween, which I really like). I decided to continue with my letter theme, and make a “C” for Carson using the same Mod Podge technique. While I finished Carson’s Dr. Suess letter last month, I just got around to hanging it in the kids’ room.
I also had a letter for Nora that I finished many months ago that I never got around to adhering to the wall until now. I made hers with a cardboard letter and wrapped variegated yarn around it. It took me awhile to like it, but now I think it looks great. Often, my projects tend to grow on me with time.
Nora immediately noticed the additions to the kids’ room, and I hope it will help her learn “N” and “C.” She’s smart as a whip these days, so I’m sure she’ll know them in no time.
