We’ve been diligently cooking at our house since January, creating weekly menus and shopping lists. Steve and I have always loved to cook, but organizing our cooking has been key in juggling work and baby.
For the last few weeks we have struggled to brainstorm dinners. We’d grown tired of The Big Book of Vegetarian and our various Moosewood cookbooks. So, on Monday I ordered Mark Bittman’s How to Cook Everything Vegetarian. I love vegetarian cooking and Steve is a good sport and eats mainly veggie at home but we needed a nice new cookbook to inspire our daily meals.
So far I have only had the chance to page through it and it’s already helped me come up with a potluck recipe for Saturday. I love that it is so comprehensive and organized in a very traditional and straightforward way. Here’s to many delicious meals ahead!
