Digging a New Food Network Chef

Now that we have a baby, we rarely go out to eat. With full-time work schedules, time at home is all too important. We are cooking frequently on Friday and Saturday nights, which, in my opinion, call for some more exciting eats. Recently, we discovered Sunny Anderson on the Food Network.

While Sunny does not cook a lot of vegetarian dishes, she is a master at the deep-fried stuff. And since it is very easy to substitute extra-firm tofu for chicken, we’ve cooked a few of her recipes in the last month or so. If you have a jonesing for take-out Chinese, try this selection of recipes. If you are craving wings, try these with her broccoli. You won’t be disappointed!

I liked her “Stormy Rice” so much that I have already put it back on the menu rotation. That’s the sign of some good eats.
