My mom visited last weekend to help us get ready for baby, but we were able to work on a nonbaby craft project at the end of her visit. Inspired by a prototype we saw over the weekend, we decided to make these cute strawberry sachets using my large stash of scrap fabric and a huge bag of lavender that I bought earlier this year.
After a few attempts, I created a workable template for the strawberries out of scrap paper. We then cut the scrap fabric out, I sewed the seam together, mom stuffed the strawberries with a few scoopfuls of lavender, and she sewed a cute felt top on each berry. A fun afternoon project for mom’s last day in town!
