Last October, I started Nat’s Distractions to showcase my love of the domestic arts, traveling, and other things that come to my mind. I am a twenty-something living in the Philadelphia area, just finished my graduate degree in public administration and spend 9 to 5 as the managing editor at a book press. I have a fantastic husband and two orange cats.

Like many, I need an outlet to express myself that is far outside of the rat race. I have found this place in cyberspace helpful in balancing my life. I enjoy writing (my college major) and sharing my completed projects here. Recently, I have been sewing and quilting up a storm and hope to display many small and large scale projects here, especially this fall when I lose my husband to the football season (he works in sports television).
