Holiday Projects

I am off from work this whole week for many reasons: to get ready for overnight company, to prepare Thanksgiving dinner, to work on several school projects, to hang out with the cats, and, more importantly, to get rested for the upcoming crazy holiday season!

I have always been a huge fan of the holidays. This year the holidays will be a bit different, since Steve and I won’t be traveling to my parents’ house to celebrate Christmas because of our work schedules. Therefore, the pressure’s on to expand our holiday season in Philly. This year I’ve worked on a project to help us ring in the season from day 1 of December. Thanks to a friendly encounter a few weeks ago, I got the idea to make an advent calendar. Though I did not knit cute little mittens for our advent calendar like my friend who inspired me, I did whip up twenty-four little stockings in the last week or so.
